Abstract Art

This self-constructed project had two steps.

The first part of this project was to play with different techniques using mixed media in a painting and how to manipulate and affect the quality of the paint. I wanted to investigating the exciting textures and variations that can occur.

The second part of this project was to creating one large painting and then cut the painting up, creating smaller paintings from the whole. I discovered all the small areas of detail happening in a larger painting that can stand along.
